3 Tbs olive oil
2 Tbs Tamari
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp cornstarch
1 medium onion
2 cups snap peas (or tatsoi or bok choi)
1/2 cup chicken stock
salt and pepper
sesame seeds

  1. In a wok, heat 3 TBS oil
  2. Sauté 1 chopped onion and stir fry for 3 minutes
  3. Add 2 cups of snow peas or if using bok choy slice the bok choy , stem and all into 1/4 inch slices
  4. Add 2 tablespoons tamari soy sauce and 1 teaspoon sugar
  5. In a cup, blend 1 teaspoon cornstarch with 1/2 cup chicken stock or vegetable stock (if you’re out of both, just use water)
  6. Add the mix to the wok and stir over medium heat for 1 min or so until the sauce slightly thickens and coats the peas (or bok choy)
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste
  8. Serve sprinkled with sesame seeds
