About Terramor Consulting

Terramor Consulting is led by Luke Sheldrick, owner-operator of Terramor Farm. He is an educator and consultant focused on practical, systems-based work in small-scale agriculture.

For over a decade, Luke has built and managed a diversified organic vegetable and flower farm with staff, infrastructure, and multiple sales channels. That experience shapes every part of the work, from how crop plans are built, to how teams function, to how systems hold up when things get busy.

Trellis exists to help farms and projects build practical systems that support long-term success.

Background and Perspective

Luke’s work is shaped by three overlapping roles:

Operator

Running Terramor Farm means working daily with the realities of vegetable and flower production and business ownership. Luke knows firsthand the challenges of labour limits, weather, cash flow, and fatigue, and the reality that systems only matter if people can actually follow them.

Educator

Luke teaches and supports farmers through courses, presentations, and program development, bringing lived experience and operational context to every setting.

Consultant

Through Terramor Consulting, Luke supports both individual farms and larger initiatives by bringing operational thinking into planning, design, and decision-making, helping align systems, people, and goals for a holistic approach to each venture.

  • Designing and teaching the Crop Plan Accelerator course
  • Contributing to the Crop Planning module within the Market Gardener Institute Masterclass

Past partnerships include Dubois Agrinovation and Orisha Automation.

What clients are saying...

  • Jana Farms, Fallbrook CA, USA

Before we worked together, I had a big vision for Jana Farms and plenty of momentum, but I was running the season week to week. Crop planning, labour and production all felt reactive, and I didn’t have a clear picture of how they fit together.

Working with Luke gave me real structure. My crop plan is intentional now and I can see the whole season laid out ahead of me. We also built out processes and SOPs that made us a lot more efficient. Managing the team got easier too. Everyone knows their role, we communicate better, and we’re on the same page about expectations.

What I valued most was that he could get into the operational details with me and also help me step back and look at the bigger picture. None of it was theory. The systems we put in place made the farm run smoother and more profitably right away.

If you’re a grower who’s good at production but wants better systems, a clearer plan for the season, and a team you feel confident managing, I’d recommend working with him.

  • Harmonious Harvests LLC, WASH, USA

Our first consultation with Luke paid for itself tenfold. His feedback on what we were planning to do saved us hundreds of dollars, as well as time and energy. Drawing on his years of market garden farming, Luke helped us see where we could make refined choices from the start.

That first session was so valuable that we knew his ongoing consultations were an absolute must for our market garden farm startup. Working with him feels like having an elder to turn to—someone whose years of experience and refinement can help us give our market garden the best possible start.

We also hired Luke to create our first crop plan for 2027. His Crop Planning course with The Market Garden Institute taught us a great deal, but we recognized how much time we would need to work through the learning curve on our own. Drawing on his farming, market, and business experience lets us move forward with a successful plan while investing our time in building the farm. Luke's support is one of the best investments!
